I've called this Work In Progress, because I started it a year and a half ago and I've still not finished it. Occasionally I'll see something I want to add or change or saw off. It's a 4x2foot piece of hardboard with spray paint, pen, ink, acrylics and oils. The lower section is almost sorted, the top part needed an overhaul. One day maybe I'll declare it done.

Moderat - No. 22

A great album, I've got in on a loop since buying it last night. This tune kind of sums up my mood right now as well.

They are Modeselektor and Apparat. Rusty Nails, Sea Monkeys and Out Of Sight also great... get the album! If you like Trentemoller, you'll like this.

Daft Punk Mix CD

On a happier note:

Elliott Smith mix CD

A friend asked me to make them an Elliott Smith CD... it was difficult. It took so long I might as well post the result here. I've probably missed some classics (from albums that I don't own) but I did my best.

Any other suggestions?

A couple of her full sized ink portraits on paper, that she pasted onto brick walls in Manchester back streets, have now both been removed. This was on Thomas Street in The Northern Quarter, during an Urban Artwork exhibition at The Urbis. It was taken down a year later as part of building restorations. Her drawings normally contain a figure with structures and scenes blended into their outline. She carefully chooses the location in which to display, using the walls detail to complete the composition.

A-Z Envelope Update

I'd like to apologise for the delay in my A-Z envelope series. I left a half finished Envelope C at work and someone took it home... as well as my copy for Juxtapoze which features Jose Parla. Normal service will resume shortly.

As when I was at Uni, I walked the Manchester streets before work and shot anything that caught my eye. I'm particularly happy with the detail and colours here, the zoom done me proud.
